If you found yourself here from my previous blog site, then I’m probably about to bore you. Feel free to click on over to the social-networking-site of your choice and check on your peeps instead of reading further.
I’m not offended. Plus, I’ll never really know. So, feel free.
If, however, you are new to this site, please hold up your hand and wave it in the air while we all applaud you. The ushers will now hand you a little Visitor Packet to fill out… Oh, wait, we’re not at church.
Consider yourself welcomed, just the same.
Thanks to my tremendously talented and tirelessly patient son-in-law for taking time away from his Band to help me get this site up and going.
I really do live on Mercy Street, both literally and figuratively. After thirty-some years of marriage, my husband and I hit a speed bump that pretty much wrecked the car. The story of our recovery from that experience is a story of great Mercy – both God’s toward us and ours toward one another. You are sure to learn a little more about that if you hang around here. As we continue to walk through life together, Wendell and I celebrate the miracle and the process of recovery every single day.
Welcome to our journey.
No, I didn’t get bored and go on to a social networking site! I’m one of your biggest fans!!! I think your new site looks great — and I think your son-in-law is one-of-a-kind 🙂 I love reading your blog and can’t wait to see those books setting on the shelves in Barnes & Noble! Of course, mine MUST be autographed! And even though I’m not new to your site nor your amazing writing ability, I am wildly waving my hand in the air and applauding your journey! As always, I’ll be checking back often!!
Love the new .com you!
The new Mercy Street is beautiful! Do you really have a street sign like that where you live? I don’t remember it. So pretty, though. And your first post is lovely, letting people in to a whole new understanding of your blog’s name. I’m going to go change you on my blog roll now.
We do have those street signs on our lamp post/street lights, Seren. And thanks to all three of my fans 🙂
…Make that four! I love the new site. I read the updates on a regular basis, and am always blessed by your insight.
I have been so privileged to watch (albeit from a distance) how you have lived on Mercy Street. You and Wendell are an inspiration to us, and we will always be grateful for the example that you have lived before us!
Thanks, Dorthea. I appreciate your encouragement.
