Dear Reader,
Thank you for stopping by my little blog today. Please pull up a chair, pour yourself a cup of coffe (or glass of Diet Coke with crushed ice and a bendy straw, if you are me), and let’s chat. I’m starting a new adventure, and I’d like to invite you to come along. In the next few weeks, I’m launching a newsletter.
I don’t think I have all the answers to life. (Was it 52? I can never remember.) Or that I’m full of ancient wisdom. (Even though I’ve discovered I’m closer to sixty than to fifty, ye gads.) And I don’t even think I am particularly witty and able to brighten a Monday morning like some authors can. (Any one of my three daughters, for instance.)
The reason I’m starting a newsletter is because I do think I’ve been given one gift by God. I think I have the ability to proclaim faith to those God has chosen. (Titus 1:1) Or, in other words, I think I can look around at this messy, mussy world and still say, “Hey, you guys, we can do this ! We can solve our problems, simplify our lives, satisfy our longings, and get completely swallowed up in love, joy, righteousness, and peace in the Holy Ghost!”
So, if you are interested in reading more about faith, family, friends, and fun, I’d like to hear from you. I’ll offer an official sign-up soon. But before that, I’d like to know if you are interested in this project. Comment here. Shoot me an email. Or say something on my Facebook page. Because, seriously you guys, we can do this. (And it will be fun.)
Hooray! I can’t wait to read it. You definitely have a lot of wisdom to share and I can personally testify to your wonderful ability to encourage and teach. So glad you are stepping out in faith and doing this.
I’m in! Sign me up and it will be like a visit with you every week.
I am in too!
Thanks, friends.
Me too, me too!! Especially for me working in the secular world, I need constant reminders or else I become so bummed out it seems pointless.
Well, of COURSE I’m in. And that picture is ridiculous in its awesomeness.
I’m totally in!
Me too.
Of course, I am in!
I am in. Your positivity reminds me so much of my mom! I can just see you two in your youth…optimism, squared. You must have encouraged each other until your possibilities were absolutely endless!
Oh, Valerie. You know us so well. Your mom and I still think our possibilities are endless.
